BRACHYLOPHOSAURUSBrachylophosaurus lived about 75 million years ago. It was a plant-eater and one of the many duck-billed dinosaurs, or Hadrosaurs. Brachylophosaurus means “Short-crested Reptile,” which came from the shield of bone that ran from its snout to the top of its flat head and ending in a short spike.
Brachylophosaurus was about 23 feet long and probably walked on either its back legs or all four legs. When standing on its back legs, it used its long arms to reach high leaves above its head.
Can you believe that Brachylophosaurus survived with its main defense against danger being sharp senses of sight, hearing and smell?
